SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITIES WITH UPWARD BOUND

Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math/Science are federally-funded programs that help low-income and potential first-generation college bound high school students from Boston and Chelsea prepare for college.  Program services include an academically intensive six-week summer residential program, as well as afterschool tutoring and enrichment classes during the school year.  The programs work with a total of 125 students in grades 9-12.

Summer Employment Includes:
 

·  Residential and nonresidential positions available.

· Room and Board for residential staff from June 18 to August 3.

·  Salary of $10.25 per hour based on a 35 hour week.

·  Application deadline is March 31, 2012.
